Shared Consistency & Wellbeing

Safety Check-In

When you're on a trip, at an event, or doing anything where someone should know you're okay, Safety Check-In lets you share real-time wellbeing updates with trusted people on your Journey.

How Safety Check-In works

A voluntary, user-initiated feature designed around trust and consent — not surveillance.

User-Initiated Only

Safety Check-In is entirely voluntary. You choose when to activate it, who can see your status, and when to stop. No one can enable it for you.

Location Sharing

Optionally share your real-time location with Journey members during the check-in period. Your location is only visible while the check-in is active.

Wellbeing Signals

Send quick status updates — "I'm safe", "Need a call", "Running late" — so your Journey members know you're okay without needing a full conversation.

Journey-Scoped Privacy

Check-in data is only visible to members of the specific Journey. It's not broadcast to your entire network — just the people who need to know.

When to use Safety Check-In

Designed for real-world situations where staying connected matters.

Solo Travel

Let family or friends on your Travel Journey know you're safe as you move between locations.

Outdoor Activities

Hiking, camping, or running — check in periodically so your group knows your status.

Events & Meetups

At a concert, festival, or large gathering? Quick safety updates keep your people in the loop.

Late Nights

Heading home late? A quick check-in reassures the people who care about you.

Safety built into the Journey

Real-time check-ins with the people who matter most — whenever you need them.
